Who We're Looking For

Megazone Cloud is looking for a Data Architect to be a chief designer of our data-driven culture and a technical authority for our clients. You are a "builder" at heart, but your primary focus is on strategy, design, and governance. You thrive on solving ambiguous, high-stakes business problems and designing the technical solutions that solve them.

You will be a key client-facing expert, leading technical discovery, setting strategy, and guiding both client and internal teams to execute a clear vision. You are a master of data ecosystems, data modeling, and governance, with deep expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and the AWS data stack.

What You'll Do

• Lead Technical Strategy & Design: Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms, data models, and data governance frameworks on AWS.
• Be the Client-Facing Expert: Lead technical discovery sessions with clients, translate complex business requirements into architectural roadmaps, and present high-level solutions to executive stakeholders.
• Set the Standard: Define and enforce best practices for data engineering, data modeling, data quality, and security across the entire practice.
• Mentor and Multiply: Act as the senior-most technical mentor for Data Engineers. You will be the "force multiplier," leveling up the entire team through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Own the Ecosystem: Drive the strategic selection and integration of data tools, leveraging Databricks and Snowflake to create powerful, efficient, and scalable data ecosystems.
• Solve the Unsolvable: Be the final point of escalation for the most complex technical challenges. You'll embrace the "builder" mentality to prototype solutions and de-risk new technologies.
  
  

What You Bring (Requirements)

• 8-12 years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, or business intelligence.
• Demonstrable experience (5 years) in a formal Data Architect role, with a focus on designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.
• Expert-level mastery of data modeling (3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault) and data governance principles.
• Deep architectural expertise with Databricks OR Snowflake (deep experience with both is a huge plus).
• Expert-level knowledge of the AWS data ecosystem (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Kinesis).
• Proven mastery of Python and SQL in the context of data architecture and pipeline design.
• Exceptional client-facing skills: Experience leading technical workshops, presenting to C-level execs, and translating business needs into technical designs.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor senior technical teams and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
• A strategic "builder" mindset, a startup mentality, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.

• Experience with GenAI and MLOps (e.g., Databricks Mosaic AI, Bedrock).
• Multiple, high-level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Databricks/Snowflake certifications).

Compensation Range: $170K - $195K
