We are looking for an experienced Amazon Paid Media Manager to lead the paid media strategy across multiple brands and Amazon marketplaces. This role will own the planning, execution, optimization, and performance of Amazon advertising investments while driving profitable growth across our portfolio.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable managing large advertising budgets while remaining deeply involved in campaign optimization and performance analysis. This role partners closely with Brand Management, Business Intelligence, and Creative teams to maximize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy
- Own the Amazon paid media strategy across multiple brands and marketplaces.
- Develop campaign strategies that maximize revenue growth while maintaining profitability targets.
- Build keyword, audience, product targeting, and competitor strategies across the portfolio.
- Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and Amazon platform changes to proactively identify growth opportunities.
Campaign Management
- Manage and optimize a monthly Amazon advertising budget of approximately $200K–$400K.
- Execute and optimize campaigns across:
- Sponsored Products
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Display
- Amazon DSP (preferred)
- Emerging Amazon advertising solutions
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics, including:
- ROAS
- ACOS
- TACOS
- New-to-Brand
- Contribution Margin
- Incrementality
- Continuously optimize campaigns to improve business profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Brand Managers to align advertising strategies with product launches, promotions, pricing, and overall brand objectives.
- Work alongside the Business Intelligence team to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and develop scalable reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to develop high-performing creative assets and continuously test messaging and content to improve campaign performance.
- Provide weekly and monthly business reviews with actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Support forecasting, budget planning, and annual business planning for Amazon advertising investments.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years managing Amazon Advertising for consumer brands.
- Demonstrated experience managing monthly Amazon advertising budgets of $200K .
- Deep expertise with:
- Amazon Sponsored Products
- Amazon Sponsored Brands
- Amazon Sponsored Display
- Amazon DSP (preferred)
- Brand Analytics
- Search Query Performance
- Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central environments.
- Experience optimizing ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, contribution margin, and overall business profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and experience using reporting tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
- Experience working closely with creative teams to improve advertising performance through testing and optimization.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Experience managing multiple brands or product portfolios is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), consumer health, wellness, beauty, supplements, or personal care industries.
- Experience supporting new product launches and scaling emerging brands.
- Knowledge of Amazon Attribution, external traffic strategies, and full-funnel Amazon advertising.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve campaign management, reporting, workflow automation, and decision-making.
