Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Wholesale Account Executive in the Fine Jewelry division, based in New York, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include building and managing relationships with wholesale clients, driving sales, and developing strategies to expand brand presence. This role entails liaising with customers, preparing sales reports, coordinating with internal teams, and pitching new collections to prospective buyers. The individual will also oversee order processing and ensure exceptional client service at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Customer Service to maintain and enhance client relationships
- Wholesale and Sales expertise, including experience in presenting and selling within the fashion or jewelry markets
- Proficiency in Wholesale Lending and Underwriting for evaluating client needs and negotiating agreements
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with fine jewelry or fashion brands is highly preferred
- A proven track record in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment
What we're looking for:
- 4 years of wholesale sales experience in fine or fashion jewelry — this is non-negotiable
- An established book of buyer relationships across independents and better retailers
- Someone who is self-directed and ownership-oriented; we're a small team and there's no one looking over your shoulder
- Strong working knowledge of retail math and how to use it in a sales conversation
- Experience with NuORDER or comparable wholesale platforms
- Willingness to travel and attend market in NYC
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our SoHo showroom. We may consider exceptional candidates outside NYC, but travel to New York for market weeks is required.
