They are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support global growth by engaging with pharmaceutical leaders, generating qualified opportunities, and driving meaningful conversations with key decision-makers in the industry. This is a high-impact role where you will contribute directly to commercial success while gaining exposure to cutting-edge AI applications in pharmaceutical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Identification & Qualification: Identify and engage high-potential stakeholders across pharmaceutical organizations (e.g., Medical Directors, Clinical Development leaders, Safety teams) through outbound outreach including calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
- Meeting Generation: Book qualified meetings with senior decision-makers for the sales leadership team.
- Value Proposition Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s platform and its impact on improving benefit-risk assessment processes within the pharmaceutical sector.
- CRM Management: Accurately track activities, maintain data quality, and ensure timely follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal growth and sales colleagues to refine messaging, handle objections, and optimize conversion performance.
- Continuous Learning: Build knowledge in pharmaceutical development, AI technologies, and consultative sales methodologies through ongoing coaching and training.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1–2 years of Software Sales experience is required
- Location: Must live in Boston – need to be happy to travel around Boston for conferences / events / meeting
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills with excellent phone presence.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport quickly with senior stakeholders and maintain professional persistence.
- Results Orientation & Learning Agility: Highly organized, target-driven, and motivated by performance metrics and KPIs. Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or AI technologies, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Team Collaboration & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a cross-functional and fast-paced startup environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to evolving processes.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or B2B SaaS environments
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Understanding of pharmaceutical R&D processes or the US pharma market
