Head of Copy (Pharma Advertising/Healthtech)
We are supporting an innovative, early-stage organisation at the intersection of healthcare communications and AI in the search for a Head Copywriter. This is a unique opportunity to shape how AI-generated content is written and designed, working closely with senior leadership to build a platform that delivers high-quality, compliant, and scalable creative outputs for pharma and biotech clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, edit, and refine AI-generated copy and visual content across HCP, patient, and payer materials
• Develop and optimise layouts, graphics, and design elements to ensure brand consistency and visual impact
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging written and visual narratives
• Guide AI models on tone, style, structure, and visual hierarchy through prompt development and training inputs
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance content generation capabilities
• Work closely with brand and marketing teams to deliver scalable, high-quality creative solutions
• Capture and integrate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve platform outputs
• Define and uphold creative and editorial standards across scientific accuracy, compliance, and brand voice
Experience Required
• 5 years’ experience in healthcare/pharma advertising agencies as a copywriter
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both writing and visual design across HCP, DTC, and unbranded content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Experience translating scientific content into compelling messaging and visuals
• Understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory considerations
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (life sciences, communications, or design; advanced degree advantageous)
