Product Assembler

Meeker Equipment Co., LLC., an asphalt plant equipment manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in Belleville, PA, has an immediate opening for a Product Assembler. Meeker Equipment produces material handling equipment, liquid handling equipment and related process equipment for the asphalt, aggregates, concrete, and petroleum industries. The product assembler will assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, valves and more.

• Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, and other fasteners as required.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fits.
• Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Checks products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified issues and alerts supervisor.
• Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner and helps develop alternative solutions.
• Travel for drop off/pick up of some products
• Some welding possible
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.72 per hour
