What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Scientist - Full Time Day Shift position at medstar-stg?
This is a scientist position in the clinical laboratory with responsibility for performing procedures in chemistry, UA, blood bank, hematology, and limited microbiology. This person is also responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures federal, state and regulatory rules and regulations. This is a 36 hour per week day shift position with working hours of 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with every third weekend rotation.
