What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Assistant - Full Time Day Shift position at medstar-stg?
Responsible for obtaining, collecting, receiving, logging and processing patient specimens via phlebotomy procedure. Assures accuracy of collection and labeling, processes specimens appropriately and send specimens to appropriate section. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Working hours for this role is Monday- Friday, 5am - 1:30pm, with every third weekend rotation.
