Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician – Outpatient Primary Care
~$300,000 Base Salary | 4–4.5 Day Workweek | Central Kentucky
A well-established regional healthcare system in Danville, Kentucky, approximately 40 minutes from Lexington, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join its outpatient primary care team. This is a long-term growth and succession opportunity driven primarily by upcoming physician retirements within a highly stable medical group.
This is a 100% outpatient position with no hospital rounding and a flexible 4–4.5 day workweek. Physicians typically see approximately 22 patients per day and are supported by established clinical teams, with at least two physicians practicing at each location. Call is shared among a large provider group at approximately 1:20.
The organization is open to both experienced physicians and upcoming residency graduates, including 2027/2028 residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking strong guaranteed compensation, a manageable schedule, and the ability to establish a long-term practice within an established patient community.

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
- Interest in outpatient, community-based primary care
