Medical Assistant & Scribe (Full-Time) – Pediatric Office
Location: Cedarhurst, NY (Five Towns Area)
Salary: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Position Details:
Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Every other Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs.

Assist providers during exams and procedures.

Perform routine pediatric tests (vision, hearing, etc.).

Administer vaccines and document accurately in the EMR.

Provide real-time charting and documentation as a medical scribe.

Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.

Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms.

Communicate clearly and warmly with patients and families.
Requirements:

Prior Medical Assistant experience required (pediatrics preferred).

Ability to work as a medical scribe (strong typing and documentation skills).

Phlebotomy experience required.

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

Professional, warm, and patient-centered communication.

Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) required.
