Medical Assistant – Pediatric Office

Salary: $20 – $25 per hour

A busy pediatric office is seeking a Spanish‑speaking Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a fast‑paced practice looking for a reliable and patient‑focused MA who enjoys working with children and families.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical office setting and be comfortable assisting providers, rooming patients, and supporting the daily workflow of a busy pediatric practice.

Practice Hours

The practice operates during the following hours:

• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 9:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM

Medical Assistants will not be required to work all of these hours, but must have flexibility within the practice schedule as shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Room Patients: Room patients and assist providers during visits • Vitals & Intake: Take vitals and document patient information • Prepare Exam Rooms: Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment • Assist Providers: Assist with pediatric procedures when needed • Patient Communication: Communicate with parents and caregivers • EMR Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system

Requirements

• Spanish Speaking – Required • Medical Assistant Experience – Preferred • ECW (eClinicalWorks) Experience – Strongly Preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills
