Front Desk Receptionist – Bilingual (Spanish) – Riverhead, NY
Salary: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist for a busy primary care office in Riverhead, NY . The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish , have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a courteous and efficient manner
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information
Handle patient registration and maintain accurate records in the EMR system (experience with eClinicalWorks/ECW is a plus)
Collect co-pays and assist with billing inquiries
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a medical office or customer service setting preferred
Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with EMR systems
Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor
Must be flexible to work some evenings and Sundays as needed
Schedule:
Flexible hours including occasional evenings and Sundays
Compensation:
