Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate bilingual EMT to join our in-home primary care team serving patients throughout the Hempstead area. In this role, you will travel to patients’ homes and serve as the hands-on clinical support while collaborating directly with our remote telehealth providers.
This position is ideal for EMTs who enjoy patient interaction, value autonomy in the field, and want to be part of a modern care model that brings high-quality primary care directly to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
• Conduct in-home patient visits throughout the local service area
• Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, temperature, and respiratory rate
• Assist telehealth providers during patient evaluations and follow clinical instructions as directed
• Support specimen collection and basic clinical procedures when needed
• Accurately document patient information and visit details
• Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate patient care in the home setting
Qualifications
• Active EMT certification required
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable traveling locally within the Hempstead area
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior healthcare, field, or in-home care experience is a plus
