This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lumberton, NC, for an Ultrasound Technologist. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing and documenting high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and vascular studies. Daily tasks will include working closely with patients to explain procedures, preparing equipment for imaging, capturing detailed images in accordance with medical protocols, and collaborating with radiologists and physicians to evaluate findings. Ensuring patient safety and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical standards and technology will also be key responsibilities.
- Hold certifications such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Proficiency in imaging procedures related to Radiology, Ultrasound, and Vascular diagnostics.
- Solid foundation in clinical medicine and knowledge of diagnostic imaging practices.
- Strong communication and patient care skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in imaging and documentation.
- Prior on-site experience in performing diagnostic imaging studies is preferred.
