Hiring Laboratory Supervisor – Chemistry | DeLand, FL
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor (Chemistry) to join a high-volume clinical laboratory environment supporting renal laboratory testing.
Position Details
- Location: DeLand, FL 32724
- Position: Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite
- Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM
- Saturday: One working Saturday every 12 weeks
- Salary: $107,000/year
- Bonus: $5,000 annual performance-based target bonus
- Relocation: Eligible
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily laboratory operations and workflow.
- Provide technical and operational leadership to laboratory staff.
- Oversee testing from specimen processing through results reporting.
- Monitor turnaround time, quality, productivity, and service metrics.
- Support staffing, scheduling, training, and competency programs.
- Coach and develop laboratory teammates.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of Medical Technologist/MLS or laboratory supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
- Active Florida Supervisor License in Clinical Chemistry – REQUIRED.
- Active Florida Supervisor License in Serology – REQUIRED.
- Current certification through ASCP, AAB, AMT, or an approved equivalent.
