Job Description
We are hiring an Echocardiographer to perform cardiac diagnostic procedures and provide accurate, high-quality imaging to support patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on echocardiography experience and the ability to perform cardiac studies for patients of all ages, including pediatric and neonatal patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic 2D, M-mode, color-flow Doppler, transesophageal, exercise stress, and pharmacological echocardiography studies.
- Perform additional cardiac diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress tests, as assigned.
- Operate echocardiography and other cardiac diagnostic equipment accurately.
- Follow infection control, equipment disinfection, and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care.
- Provide clinical guidance to students when required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer credential.
- Successful completion of an echocardiography certification program and/or two years of hands-on echocardiography experience.
- Ability to perform cardiac diagnostic studies for patients of all ages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Cardiovascular Sonography.
- Extensive hospital-based echocardiography experience.
- Pediatric and neonatal echocardiography experience.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $75,000–$110,000.
