Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
Specific responsibilities include:
- Welding of ductwork of all sizes.
- Fabricating rack brackets, supports, and junction boxes.
- Performing miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers, job shacks, and other company-owned items, equipment, and vehicles.

The Sheet Metal Welder Will Function In a Specialty Capacity Welding Small Gauge Metal. When Welding Is Not Needed There Must Be a Willingness To Work Alongside Our Team Of Sheetmetal Mechanics. Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding
- Experience with black iron and galvanized steel
- Weld on small gauge Aluminum or Stainless Steel
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- MUST know to read engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Willingness to work as a Sheetmetal Mechanic when welding is not needed
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in MIG & TIG process, welding Aluminum and Stainless Steel
- Minimum of six months experience in HVAC sheet metal duct installation on commercial and/or residential projects
- Must have own Sheet Metal hand tools (company supplies power tools)
- Must be able and willing to follow job-site instructions.
- Lift heavy materials and not be afraid of heights.
- Must be able to qualify to all company welding procedures.
- Must be able to qualify future welding procedures.
- Must be proficient in SMAW, GMAW, TGAW (others are a plus).
- Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods and equipment: visual, remote visual, leak, ASTM certification desired.
- Sheet metal Ductwork &/or Mechanical experience is a plus
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
- Repetitive use of arms, legs, hands, and fingers.
- Not afraid of heights.
