What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Precertification Coordinator position at Medlogix?
This is a remote position, but you must be in the NJ or PA region to attend meetings in our Hamilton, NJ office.

Location: Hamilton NJ
Hybrid position. Once a month in Hamilton NJ office
The Pre-Certification Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider's office. The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received; required data is entered into Medlogix software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review. The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.

- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
- Microsoft Office / Windows Software
Experience
- 1 year of Data Entry experience
- 1 year of Customer Service experience
- 1 year of Medical administration experience
Preferred, not Required Experience
- Medical Claim Processing
- Medical Billing
- 10 Key Calculator
- Spanish speaking a plus
Education:
- High school or equivalent
