Salary Range: $25/hour (new grad) – $27/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
The LPN Occupational/Employee Health Nurse reports to the nurse executive/Director of Occupational Health. The role involves collaboration with employees, employers, occupational health and safety team members, and other professionals to:
- Identify health and safety needs
- Prioritize interventions
- Develop and implement programs
- Evaluate care and service delivery
The position may involve working in Family Care, Orthopedics, or Internal Medicine settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, management, and documentation of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries
- Conduct case management for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries
- Perform health hazard assessment and surveillance of employee populations, workplaces, and community groups
- Investigate, monitor, and analyze illness and injury episodes and trends; develop methods to promote and protect employee health and safety
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards governing employee and environmental health and safety
- Manage and administer occupational and environmental health services
- Implement health promotion and disease prevention strategies (primary, secondary, and tertiary principles)
- Provide counseling, health education, and training programs using adult learning principles
- Conduct research related to occupational and environmental health

Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing – Required
- 1–2 years healthcare experience – Required
- Occupational and/or Employee Health experience – Preferred
Required Skills
- Current NH LPN license – Required (Compact Allowed)
- Certification in specialty area – Preferred (e.g., Breath Alcohol Technician Certification)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
