Temp – Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Provides skilled rehabilitative treatment under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist (PT). Duties include therapeutic exercises, ambulation, manual techniques, modalities, and assistive devices; monitoring patient progress; communicating treatment outcomes; maintaining accurate electronic documentation; coordinating care; and supporting patient and caregiver education.
Submission Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
- Long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation experience required.
- Active Massachusetts PTA license required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based treatments according to the rehabilitation plan.
- Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising PT.
- Document treatment sessions, treatment minutes, and patient records accurately.
- Participate in care conferences, meetings, trainings, and in-services.
- Follow APTA standards, state practice regulations, and professional ethics.
Salary : $35 - $38
