What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perm - Social Worker - Outpatient position at MedlinkHealth Anesthesia?
ADULT OUTPATIENT THERAPIST.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM.
- Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
- Flexible scheduling available; some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake evaluations and provide direct clinical services to adults and families.
- Assess and document client needs related to mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy using person-centered treatment approaches.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, families, and other support professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete documentation promptly.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow professional ethical standards.
- Complete required training in adult mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Active Michigan state licensure: LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness; internship or fieldwork experience may count.
- Must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and establish therapeutic relationships.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
