Vice President of Product Development
A leading manufacturer of high-quality dietary supplements is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product Development to lead formulation, product innovation, and commercialization efforts.

This role will oversee the full product lifecycle—from concept through scale-up to manufacturing readiness—while also playing a key role in marketing strategy and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, a passion for innovation, and a strong track record of leadership in product development.

Key
1. Flavoring & Formulation Create and optimize formulations to meet standards for quality, flavor, cost-efficiency, and nutritional value. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through smarter formulation, including minimizing excess and obsolete materials (E&O). 2. Program Management Lead all aspects of product development projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and performance tracking. 3. Commercialization Oversee product scale-up to ensure smooth transition from development to full-scale manufacturing. 4. Marketing & Innovation Develop and support marketing strategies that enhance product visibility and drive growth. Monitor industry trends and consumer behavior to guide ongoing innovation efforts. 5.

Customer Engagement Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key clients, sharing insights on market trends and innovation opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutritional Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

At least 10 years of experience in product development within the nutraceutical or related industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to develop and launch innovative, successful products. Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
