Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electronic, optical, and software issues on OCT devices and other ophthalmic equipment
- Perform calibrations, alignments, testing, and functional checks to ensure equipment is working accurately
- Complete work orders and repair documentation in a timely manner
- Work with R&D and service teams to troubleshoot equipment and installation issues
- Maintain inventory and keep SOPs and documentation up to date
- Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Strong mechanical, optical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Experience troubleshooting PC systems, motor controls, and software issues
- Microsoft Office experience; SAP experience is a plus
- Ability to work with small and delicate optical and electronic components
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in an ESD-controlled environment
Preferred Experience
- Medical device experience preferred
- 3 years of experience as a Repair Technician, Field Service Technician, or similar technical repair role
