Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and automotive fluid replacements using standard hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency
- Conduct scheduled maintenance services such as tire rotations, brake inspections, and basic mechanical repairs
- Assist with tire service including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires on various vehicle types
- Diagnose minor mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs
- Utilize mechanical repair skills to perform vehicle maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards
- Support the team with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment during maintenance procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored after use
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement procedures, and basic mechanical repairs
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to perform oil changes, tire services, and minor mechanical repairs efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects regularly and perform maintenance tasks safely
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules and safety protocols
