What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oncology Medical Assistant - MA position at Medix?
Overview of Responsibilities:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs including blood pressure, weight, pulse, and height.
Verifying patient medications, allergies, and medical history.
Managing patient paperwork and documentation.
Assisting providers directly with patient care and clinical tasks.
Maintaining clinical flow and ensuring a high standard of patient support.
Schedule/Shift:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Requirements:
Active MA-C (Certified) or MA-R (Registered) in the state of Washington.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
Ability to work in-person in Everett, WA.
Additional Skills:
Prior experience in Oncology is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.
Contract Length:
520 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
