Weekly Gross Travel Pay Package: $2900 - $3250/week
Local Contract Hourly Rates: $67-$77/hr
Job Description
Medix is partnering with a highly stable, premier medical practice to find a skilled travel Sonographer for an exciting contract assignment. In this role, you will work as an integral clinician within a tight-knit team of eight physicians, utilizing state-of-the-art GE ultrasound equipment to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Manage a standard daily volume of 12 to 14 scans per day.
- Maintain accurate documentation of ultrasound findings and collaborate closely with the division physicians.
- Identify normal and abnormal anatomy; appropriately flag standard cases for physician review.
- Coordinate care continuity by recognizing high-risk patient criteria and ensuring those cases are seamlessly referred out to Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists.
- Maintain, clean, and properly utilize state-of-the-art GE ultrasound equipment.
Required Skills
- Active certification in OB/GYN sonography (ARDMS or equivalent).
- 2 years of experience working in a dedicated OB/GYN clinical setting.
- Strong proficiency in routine obstetric and gynecological scanning protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a steady patient pace while providing compassionate care.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a physician-led team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating and navigating newer GE ultrasound technology.
- Prior experience in travel or contract assignments, demonstrating adaptability to a new office workflow.
