Title: OB/GYN Physician
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Summary:
A growing, hospital-affiliated women's health practice is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join a collaborative team providing full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a busy, physician-led practice supported by Certified Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice Providers. Day to Day:
- Provide full-scope Obstetrics & Gynecology care with an approximately 50/50 split between obstetrics and gynecology
- Manage prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and routine to high-risk obstetric patients
- Perform gynecologic evaluations, office procedures, and surgical services
- Complete procedures including colposcopy, LEEP, office hysteroscopy (Endosee), circumcisions, and other outpatient gynecologic procedures
- Perform gynecologic surgeries and cesarean deliveries as appropriate
- Interpret obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds (AIUM certification required within six months if not already obtained)
- Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives, Women's Health Nurse Practitioners, and other Advanced Practice Providers
- Participate in a shared 1:10 call rotation with physician colleagues
- Provide care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, anesthesia, and surgical staff, to optimize patient outcomes
Shift:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Shared 1:10 call rotation
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
- Approximately five years of OB/GYN experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- AIUM certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first six months of employment
- Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
