Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – Local/Travel Contract

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) for an immediate 13-week travel or contract assignment at a premier, high-volume cardiology practice in Delray Beach, Florida.
This role is vital to maintaining patient access, diagnostic quality, and seamless clinic operations. Working alongside a dedicated Medical Assistant and attending cardiologists, you will lead the facility's nuclear medicine imaging services for an established adult and geriatric patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Nuclear & Cardiac Imaging: Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures, diagnostic exams, and post-processing, with a primary focus on cardiac imaging and C-CAM utilization.
Cardiac Stress Testing: Support and execute cardiac stress testing in direct collaboration with attending cardiology physicians.
Workflow & Quality Control: Manage daily department workflow, ensure precise image quality, and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and quality control standards.
Patient Care: Guide patients through procedures with exceptional care, clear communication, and efficiency across a standard daily volume of 4 to 7 patients.
Documentation: Accurately chart patient data, image findings, and procedural details in the clinic's EMR system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Certification: Active certification through the NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) required.
BLS: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
EHR/EMR Experience: Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record systems (preference given to candidates with NextGen or Athena experience).
Skills: Strong clinical autonomy, expertise in cardiac nuclear imaging, and excellent bedside manner—especially with geriatric patients.
