We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Pleasant Prairie. This role is essential in supporting both clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient patient care and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
• Check and record vital signs accurately.
• Administer injections as directed by the provider.
• Document patient care and visit details in Epic (EMR system).
• Provide patients with post-visit instructions and education.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with care coordination.
• Provide hands-on assistance during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms to ensure readiness and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1 years of recent Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience working with an EMR system.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 weeks of employment.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
