About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable Echo / Vascular Sonographer to join our team in LaGrange, GA. In this role, you will work providing critical diagnostic imaging for a wide range of cardiac and vascular conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echoes, and comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams (carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, etc.) following established protocols.
- Patient & Clinical Communication: Gather detailed patient histories, effectively communicate procedures to ensure an exceptional patient experience, and summarize key clinical findings for interpreting physicians.
- Clinical Excellence & Safety: Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment (Phillips Epiq CVx), maintain sterile technique where required, and assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
- Clinical Care Delivery: Perform 4–8 exams per day across diverse conditions (CAD, PAD, DVT, renal artery stenosis, venous reflux, cardiomyopathy).
Minimum Qualifications
- Certifications:
- Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential.
- Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, with demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging.
- Technical Skills: Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (Epic preferred).
- Physical & Logistics Requirements: Ability to push/pull heavy diagnostic medical equipment; valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in high-volume outpatient testing centers, physician offices, or hospital settings.
- Hands-on experience assisting with interventional/vascular procedures.
Schedule & Benefits
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call). Potential for alternating Fridays off based on patient volume.
