Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and prepping ingredients for cooks.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and well-stocked with necessary items.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen during peak hours.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
