Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing optimize table turnover and guest flow
• Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen staff to coordinate seating and ensure timely service
• Prepare dining areas by setting up tables, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
• Assist in food prep tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in maintaining efficient workflow during busy hours
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred, demonstrating strong customer service
• Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, to interact confidently with guests and team members
