Process Control Engineer

Introduction:

The Process Control Engineer will play a vital role in helping suppliers prioritize facility needs to ensure smooth material shipments and continuous operation of Caterpillar production lines. This position involves working closely with various teams to analyze data, create reports, and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist suppliers in prioritizing facility needs for material shipments.
• Lead Control Towers to coordinate with multiple production and service facilities, suppliers, and buyers.
• Create and maintain Excel files to highlight risk areas and track facility needs.
• Analyze production methods and operations to establish standard shipments and enhance efficiency.
• Interpret supply chain demand and collaborate with management to determine shipment plans.
• Verify quality assurance specifications by reviewing logs, product processing sheets, and specifications.
• Plan work assignments based on performance, production schedules, and potential delays.
• Prepare visual aids such as charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow and material coverage.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and computer-generated reports.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with MS Excel, including macros and complex formulas.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PowerBI.

• Strong conflict resolution abilities.

Education:

• High School Diploma (Required).
• Bachelor''s degree preferred.
• 2-year degree with 6 years of experience or Master''s degree with 0-2 years of experience also considered.
