Bill Rate Range - $30 to $35
Estimated Duration (In Months) - 10
Work Model - Onsite
Must have Skills/Attributes - 3D, APQP, CAD, FMEA
Shift - M-F On-site, 7:30 to 4:00
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor''s in Engineering
Required Skills for the Research Engineer:
- 3D modeling/print detailing
- Clear understanding of GD&T
- Hands-on with product
- Product development experience
- FMEA/DVP&R/APQP
Desired Skills:
- Engine/Fuel systems development experience
- Structural FEA experience
- Hydraulic analysis experience
- Product validation experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Research Engineer Overview:
The main function of a Research Engineer is to research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes. A typical Research Engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- This engineer will be responsible for fuel pump validation for a new design pump. They will lead validation planning, track hardware, plan and run tests, and communicate results to the team. Engineer will work with lead engineers, pump SME and two additional engineers on development of new fuel pump project to advance toward NPI launch.
