Job Summary:
- Medinah Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Junior Tennis Professional to join our team for the summer season. This is an ideal opportunity for a high school or college-level tennis player who is passionate about the game and interested in gaining hands-on coaching experience in a fun, supportive club environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading junior tennis clinics, camps, and private lessons.
- Provide instruction on fundamental techniques, match play, and sportsmanship.
- Help organize and set up drills, games, and on-court activities.
- Support day-to-day operations of the tennis program (court setup, equipment management, etc.).
- Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
Education and Experience:
- Current experience playing or coaching tennis or prior coaching or camp counselor experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals and rules of play.
- Positive attitude with a desire to teach and mentor younger players.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
