Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians, chiropractors, and other medical professionals with patient care
- Obtain vital signs, patient history, and document information in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure a clean, organized environment
- Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care (if applicable)
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and postvisit care
- Assist with scheduling, prior authorizations, and medical documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- One or more years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
- Experience in orthopedics, pain management, or chiropractic care is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
