Job Summary
Medicus Spine & Joint is hiring an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to evaluate and manage patients with spine conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain in a collaborative outpatient setting.
This role is ideal for providers with experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or personal injury care who are comfortable conducting independent patient evaluations, treatment planning, and care coordination.
What You’ll Do
Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
Assess and manage spine disorders, joint pain, and injury-related conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray)
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery expectations
Coordinate care with physical therapy, chiropractic, and interventional pain teams
Support physicians in procedure planning and post-procedural care
Document accurately in the EHR
Required Qualifications
Active Florida APRN or PA-C license
National certification (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
Experience in outpatient clinical settings
Strong diagnostic, documentation, and patient communication skills
Preferred
Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or neurology
Experience with auto accident / personal injury cases
Familiarity with multidisciplinary care models
Comfort managing independent patient caseloads
