We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with exceptional service and guidance in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs. Duties
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products by providing detailed information about strains, effects, and usage.
- Utilize POS systems for processing transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products through effective merchandising techniques.
- Handle cash transactions with precision while adhering to cash handling protocols.
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about new offerings and promote upselling opportunities.
- Stock shelves and ensure that inventory levels are maintained, reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the dispensary, providing a friendly and informative experience.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers, including bilingual interactions when applicable.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management and accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in cashiering and handling cash responsibly.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
