What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDS Coordinator position at Medicalodges, Inc.?
Job Summary:
Coordinates the interdisciplinary team in resident assessment and development of resident plan of care according to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and state and federal requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess residents in order to accurately complete the Minimum Data Set and Resident Assessment Protocol.Coordinate MDS and Care Plan Team
- Implement and monitor individual care plans for residents based on MDS Guidelines.
- Maintain a schedule of due dates for MDS and Care Plans including new admissions and those with significant changes.
- Submit the MDS to the appropriate agency.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Current registration as an LPN or RN
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and make sound nursing decisions within scope of practice
- Possess leadership skills
This is an onsite position.
