Job Summary:
The Day Services Supervisor oversees the daily operation of day rehabilitation and community
integration services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) receiving HCBS
waiver services. This role ensures services are person-centered, and promotes independence, choice,
community inclusion, and self-advocacy.
Responsibilities:
? Oversee the planning, implementation and monitoring of day service to ensure independence,
choice, rights and inclusion. All services must align with the HCBS Final Rule and the agency’s
mission to support individuals in living meaningful lives as active members of their communities.
? Adherence to company policies and procedures, standards of conduct and maintain a
professional attitude at all times.
? Maintain and review individuals documentation such as Mars, goals, daily logs, etc. in the
Electronic Health Record (EHR).
? Ensure the setting is in compliance with the HCBS Final Rule requirements, state licensing, Article
63 and agency policies.
? Attend interdisciplinary team meetings as directed by the Program Manager and/or Executive
Director.
? Assist in the hiring, evaluation, disciplinary action, and training of personnel in
accordance with Medicalodges, Inc. policies and procedures and state and federal
requirements.
? Must be flexible with hours to meet agency needs.
? On call rotation.
? Ensure staff are trained in person centered practices, dignity, rights protection, HCBS final rule
and HCBS compliance standards.
? In coordination with the Program Manager complete disciplinary actions with staff as needed.
? Increase knowledge of Direct Care Staff through in-service and training.
? Collect and accurately enter the appropriate units for Day Service Billing and turn in the billing
sheet by the first day of the next month.
? Ensure persons-served have opportunities for choice making, social participation, employment,
education, and recreation.
? Review each individual’s person centered support plan (PCSP), Risks, Behavior support plans, and
Psychotropic Medication Plans.
? Input medication orders into Point Click Care (PCC) once the medication is received.
? Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
? High School diploma
? One year in providing services to the intellectually and developmentally disabled preferred.
? Current and valid driver's license in appropriate state.
? Pass the company required motor vehicle background check and other state relevant
background checks.
