HOUSEKEEPER | EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT (FED)

About the Role:

The FED Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the Freestanding Emergency Room at UAB Medical West. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas are sanitized and organized, which is essential for the health and well-being of both staff and patients. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
