About the Role:
The ECHO TECH-REG position at Medical West, UAB is crucial for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Graduate of a Sonography program.
- Registry in good standing or Registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiograms.
- Advanced certification in echocardiography or related specialties.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
