What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Medical Transportation of Oklahoma, LLC?
Medical Transportation of Oklahoma, LLC (MTO) provides non-emergent transports to nursing home patients throughout the state of Oklahoma. The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations of MTO—maintaining a strong working/coaching relationship with all team members, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Salary: $45-55K with quarterly bonuses based on KPIs.

The duties of the Operations Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Coach, guide, and direct Transportation Specialists (MTO Drivers) and team of Dispatchers in all aspects of their positions.
- Execute all organizational processes, creating new policies where needed, and improving existing processes/policies.
- Respond to client requests and complaints promptly, with appropriate solution(s) or information, and is largely responsible for nurturing and maintaining the client/company relationship.
- Guide the culture of MTO.
- Utilize reporting data to make decisions that consider efficiencies and the financial health of the company.
- Respond to directives from the Vice President of MTO proactively, including leading the company's growth.
- Maintain the health of MTO's fleet, working closely with third-party vendors to procure vehicles, equipment, and goods as necessary.
- Participate in all interviews and hiring decisions within the organization as requested by the Vice President of MTO.
- Required to learn and maintain proficiency as both a Transportation Specialist and a Logistics Coordinator—and be willing to step-in to assist with the scheduling and execution of client transportation requests as needed.
- Any other reasonable task requested by the MTO Vice President.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must exhibit and represent the company's Service Values in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner at all times.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must exhibit effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, and is preferred to have moderate/strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred experience of at least 2 years in a business management role.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
