Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Part-Time Accounting Assistant***.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required in accounting and bookkeeing.
This is a PART TIME/TEMP OR TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA with a max of 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
- Perform data entry and record financial transactions
- Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and financial documentation
- Monitor transactions and identify discrepancies
- Organize receipts, records, and supporting documentation
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing procedures
- Provide general administrative and accounting support
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Excel
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Available for 20 hours per week
