The Medical Suites at Oak Creek is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will help maintain the building, equipment, and grounds while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained healthcare environment. This position works closely with other departments to support daily operations and provide excellent service to our residents.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with preventive maintenance programs and routine building repairs.
Perform basic maintenance tasks involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Inspect equipment, systems, and facility areas to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Complete repairs and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all safety procedures, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Provide courteous, professional service to residents, visitors, and staff.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of maintenance experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance is preferred.
Familiarity with local building codes is a plus.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
This position requires the ability to:
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
Perform physical tasks associated with building maintenance.
Read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform job duties and communicate with residents, visitors, and team members.
