Job description:
Medical Services of America Home Health and Hospice, a member of the MSA family is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to fill a Full-Time Clinical Manager for our Hospice location in Richlands (Tazewell), VA.
- Approves requests for services, re-certifications, add-on orders and changes.
- Overseas the scheduling of all patient services.
- Receives and approves patient's re certifications and/or discharges.
- Audits physician's modified orders for accuracy, legibility and content prior to forwarding to physician's office for signature.
- Reviews and signs all lab reports. Notifies physician of any clinical facts as the relate to the patient's condition
- Conducts in-home supervisory visits.
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of VA from an accredited school of nursing required
- Must have proper knowledge of Hospice regulations and reimbursement
- Minimum of one year Clinical Manager experience required
- Minimum of two years nursing experience
- Valid Drivers License with company required liability insurance
