Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurses (RNs) to administer a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations, in a retail healthcare environment. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy providing preventative care, educating patients, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations, following established clinical guidelines.
- Assess patients before vaccination and monitor them for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of vaccinations and patient records.
- Educate patients on vaccines, potential side effects, and aftercare instructions.
- Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to provide quality patient care.
- Adapt to changing workflows and support clinic operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you will be working.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
- Must not be on any federal healthcare exclusion list.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience administering immunizations in a retail, clinic, or community healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
