As a medical assistant, you will provide administrative support and translation services for a busy medical specialty practice. Seeking someone bilingual, service oriented, energetic and professional. Opportunity for raises, bonuses and career growth based on consistent, outstanding performance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with medical examinations, including translation
Organize and schedule appointments
Answer phones
Verify insurance and perform pre-certifications
Update and file medical records and insurance reports
Clean rooms between patients
Clean equipment at end of day
Skills needed:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Must be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in English
Hold basic computer skills necessary for using EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
Prefer past experience working in a medical office, but not required
Service oriented, ability to interact with others in a polite and professional manner
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, part time morning hours
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
