Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and field teams.
- Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot system errors and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Manage service documentation, including work orders, service logs, and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and internal departments for issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, delivering exceptional service.
- Support inventory management, parts ordering, and equipment lifecycle tracking.
- Participate in training sessions to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, service contracts, and system sales.
- Assist with installations, site evaluations, and workflow planning as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude.
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, or field service work.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with documentation tools and software.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience in medical imaging (CT, MRI, X-ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, etc.).
- Background in healthcare technology, field service engineering, or equipment installation.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA.
- Bilingual proficiency (English Spanish) is a strong advantage.
