About the Role
At Medical-Link, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Credentialing & Licensing Specialist to support our growing healthcare staffing team. This role works closely with recruiters, account managers, providers, and clients to ensure all credentialing, licensing, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable navigating state licensing boards, credentialing requirements, and healthcare compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage physician and provider credentialing and licensing processes nationwide
- Coordinate and compile documentation for new applications, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Research state licensing board and DEA requirements as needed
- Provide timely and accurate updates regarding licensing and credentialing status
- Maintain accurate provider information and documentation within internal systems and databases
- Identify discrepancies in documentation and conduct appropriate follow-up
- Partner with recruiters, account managers, providers, and clients to ensure timely onboarding and compliance
- Interact professionally with licensing boards, credentialing teams, providers, and external partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality of provider files and protected information
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state medical boards, DEA requirements, and other regulatory agencies
- Effectively manage large amounts of information and documentation while meeting deadlines

Qualifications
- 2 years of medical credentialing and/or licensing experience required
- AA or BA preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements preferred
